Porsche 911 Targa Gtechniq Silver detail + Crystal Serum upgrade

This brand new Porsche 911 Targa made its way over from Sheffield Porsche Centre to recieve a Gtechniq Silver detail with Gtechniq Crystal Serum upgrade. Our usual detailed wash and decontamination process revealed very small amounts of contamination that were dealt with using fallout removers and soft clay bars. This was then followed by two stages of machine polishing to remove the very light swirl marks and surface hazing present. This two stage polish is becoming the norm on all new cars we are seeing as not only does it remove any factory or dealership inflicted defects but also massively increases the gloss levels by clearing and slightly re-leveling the lacquer coat. This process then allows the underlying colour base coat to really show through and in this vehicles case, an amazing colour that benefited from this dramatically. After completing the polishing work the car was coated with Gtechniqs dual ceramic, 9H, Crystal Serum coating. The main purpose of this coating is its extreme levels of protection but an added benefit, especially when used in conjunction with EXO or C2 is the increases in gloss levels.

All other surafces were coated with Gtechniq coatings including C4 on all exterior hard plastics, T1 on Tyres, G1 on exterior glass, I1 on Convertable roof and interior fabrics, L1 on leather surfaces and Matte dash on interior plastics. The finished car looked incredible once complete with the Saphire blue metallic paint taking on a candy like appearance that really complemented the classic curves of this 911.
